Lisa learned how to run in her 40’s as a result of trying to shake up the exercise regime by joining a running class. She completed her first 5k in 2013 and hasn’t looked back. As an average everyday mid to back of the pack runner and athlete, her goals have been to start, finish, and have fun and she has been successful at all 3. In 2015, she dipped her toe into the triathlon world and fell in love with that sport, specifically sprint distance. To her surprise, she qualified for the USAT Age Group National Championships in 2021 and had an absolute blast each step of the way. Exercise and racing should be fun and it is for Lisa.
