As far back as I can remember every April growing up on patriots day you could find me at the Boston Marathon finish line with my family waiting to cheer on my grandfather and uncle AKA Team Hoyt as they crossed the finish line! Every year watching them cross the line was just as inspirational as the year before! Over time that inspiration of watching them began to build over the years! I’d go on to run track and cross country in high school and college! Fast forward to October 11th, 2021 I found myself lacing up and toeing the line for the start of my first marathon ever the 125th Boston Marathon! It was such a surreal experience the best part was the roar of the crowd as I ran down Boylston st to the finish line! I love the race so much I went on to run again in 2022 and will be running again in 2023! And now I am currently a certified RRCA running coach.
