The Trail Animals Running Club (TARC), founded in 1994, is the largest trail and ultrarunning group in the Northeast, with our home base in Eastern Massachusetts, and members located all around the world. We aim to act as community stewards by providing equitable access to trail running and promoting positive trail running culture.
The club hosts monthly beginner friendly group runs at Blue Hills Reservation in Milton and Great Brook Farm State Park in Carlisle, as well as at several other revolving locations around Massachusetts.
The TARC Trail Series attracts thousands of participants each year from February to December, with events from 5K to 100+ miles.
