I knew I was a distance runner the day I accidentally ran a 5th warm-up lap at a sprint & jumps camp. I came into coach and said they didn’t finish their laps. He said, no, have a seat, you just ran extra. My mom knew I was a distance runner years before that in my first road race, where I stopped mid race wondering where all of the other kids were. From there I fell in love with classes like PE and health and eventually became a Coach & Teacher of all of the above. My hobbies now include powerlifting and announcing at XC/TF meets throughout the PNW. All of these passions are ones I hope to instill in my two daughters as they grow. God has blessed me with these gifts and I hope to share them with the world.
