After working as a professional pianist for 10 years, Carrie Collins began suffering from chronic neck and shoulder problems. She learned about the technique of Ki-Hara resistance stretching, which completely fixed her neck and shoulder pain and allowed her to enjoy the activities that she loved to do.
Carrie founded Stretch Chi in 2007 in Chicago, IL, and now provides assisted stretching, group classes, workshops, certification courses, retreats and online courses to students in 11 states and 4 countries.
Carrie is certified in the Meridian Flexibility System by Bob Cooley, Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching by Anne Tierney and Steve Sierra, and Thai Massage and Reflexology by J.C. Cardona.
Carrie has shared her knowledge and experience with Ki-Hara at the Mindbody Online BOLD Conference in 2015 and the Resistance Stretching Symposium in 2016. She has been mentioned in Health Magazine, Vogue Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Public Radio and Time Out Chicago.
