Trained scientist, jack of random trades, and freelance baker. I was on my high school’s track and field team but trained in discus and hammer. I started running for fun in college and over the years found my love for long distance, running groups, and multiple pairs of good sneakers.
I hesitated to identify myself as a “runner” for a while because I felt like I wasn’t legitimate because I couldn’t finish a race without walking, that I was slow, and all of these other insecurities I had. But in this journey of life I’ve realized that it’s all relative and that I really only have myself to compare to. Each day I strive to be a better me.
