I get to run: that’s what I tell myself when I am cold, tired, about to miss a cut off, or sitting on my couch saying just 10 more minutes till I get up. I don’t have to run: I get to. Full disclosure it doesn’t always work ha ha but I try! I’m an everyday back of the pack runner who believes that people are capable of incredible things and accomplishing a running goal gives you confidence to accomplishing any goal you set.
I started running road races and marathons after college but since have shifted towards trail running and ultras. I love any challenge including CrossFit, rock climbing, hiking, and training for my first 100 mile run. I love coaching my sweet students to a 5k as a part of Girls on the Run. I enjoy the peace of running solo but also actively run and volunteer with local groups in Boston.
