I started running when my friend told me to do a 5k. I figured it was a one and done. I’ve been running 5+ years. I follow a run walk method. At the beginning, I had told myself that I would never run farther than 3-4 miles and now I’ve run 5 half marathons and currently training for a 10 mile race and my 6th half marathon. I’ve volunteered in a training program for people who wanted to run their first 5k and I’ve thought about becoming a run coach to help people who want to start running.
