One a cold St. Patrick’s Day morning I awoke with a foggy head, and decided that the best thing to do in that moment was to run it off. From the bottom of the closet an old pair of running shoes emerged, and my first run was born. After many years of running, and several years of OCR racing I jumped into the world of marathoning in 2019, and fell in love with the challenge. In 2021 as covid dwindled, and Boston Marathon was held in October for the first time in it’s history, I secured my spot as a first time charity runner after losing my sister to cancer. Sinc then I have raised over $40,000.00 for cancer charities, and hope to continue to do so while tackling the Abbott World Major Marathons.
