HI! My name is Nicole Kolenda. I am a mom to two children (Ava 11yrs & Mason 10yrs) and two fur babies (Izzy & Blue), a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist & Adjunct Professor, and host of the Voice for Possibility podcast. I am also a recent breast cancer survivor (I prefer thriver!) I played volleyball in college and always ran here and there—but it got a bit more serious when I used it as an outlet for peace and quiet when my children were younger. My first marathon was the NYC Marathon in 2017 when I was 41 years old and I never looked back. I am excited to run NYC for the 6th time this year (I ran it virtually in 2020) and I am also training for the Chicago Marathon. To round out my multi-hyphenate career, I am an RRCA Level 1 Certified Run Coach and a Certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). I work with women and mothers to show them what is possible when you show up for yourself.
