Tamara is the cofounder of Nutshell, sustainable coolers made from coconuts. Tamara started designing coolers for artisanal tuna fisherfolk in the Philippines back in 2018. She and her cofounder moved to a small fishing village to co-design these coolers with the community, and became fed up with all the plastic waste around coolers. Until she discovered nature’s very own insulation, and introduced it to the outdoor industry with the launch of Nutshell Coolers.
